Join the Cricut Lovers Guide to Design Space!

I want to invite all my blog followers to come join the Facebook group Narelle and I have opened for Cricut Design Space! The group has only been opened for a short while and already we have a great group of members who really embrace the Crafter Helping Crafter philosophy. You won't find any one taking advantage of the group members by pushing their own agenda, youtube channel or Patreon page.

What you will find is a community of Cricut users willing to help others by answering questions and/or posting projects and tutorials. There are so many talented crafters who use a Cricut and they are willing to freely share their time, talents and files.

And, it doesn't matter how much you know! We have members who just bought the Explore to those that have had it for months to those who are still learning about it and haven't yet purchased one. We have members who have been Cricut users for a long time and those who are new to Cricut. We also have some very helpful Cricut Team members in our group including the CEO.

So if you want to learn how to use Design Space, the powerful software program that runs the Explore, come join us! Here's the link to the group:

Welcome to the Brick People Blog Hop!

Let's party! For the Brick People Blog Hop, I created two projects. One is a banner made to resemble an old fashioned paper doll chain. I welded the Brick People body together in Design Space and added different facial expressions. You could use this as a birthday banner and add letters between each Brick person.

For my second project, I made gable style treat boxes for your party guests. I used a gable box from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 and the cut a strip of green cardstock and embossed it with the Seeing Spots CB embossing folder. You could make all the same Brick People to decorate your treat boxes or made one special Brick Person for each child.

You’re sure to find some inspiration from the amazing projects created by our Design Team and Guests.

Design Space Videos

I'm constantly getting emails asking about one of the features of Design Space or how to do a specific "thing" in Design Space. Let me recommend that if you have a Cricut Explore and want to learn about the features of Design Space, watch the videos that were made by Provo Craft. They are professionally made and very good! No need to wade through all the hundreds of user made videos that have poor lighting or crazy background noises or a rambling narrator to get the info you need. While there are some really good user made videos out on the net, I've found the ones Cricut made are easy to follow, straightforward and very informative. Plus, there's no begging for you to follow them or join their site or donate money! So here they are:

I will still continue to answer your emails if you have questions, but just recently I was locked out of my email account and didn't get the problem resolved for 4 days! There were several people who had emailed me with questions that I know are answered in the Cricut videos. So I wanted to list these resources so you can get a quicker answer to your question. Happy Crafting!
